How do I create new content?

With JollyDeck Create, you can turn existing documents into structured e-learning courses with AI, build courses from scratch, or create question banks for tests.

To create new content:

1. From your Dashboard, click + New learning content.
2. Choose how you want to start:
   1. Convert a document into a course with AI
   2. Build a new course from scratch using templates or AI
   3. Build a question bank for a test

Option A: Convert a document into a course

Upload an existing PDF, Word document, or PowerPoint file, such as an SOP, policy, manual or other training material.

JollyDeck’s Doc-to-Course converter transforms your document into a structured, editable course while keeping you in control of what happens to the source content. Before the course is generated, you can review and refine the outline and decide how closely the course should follow the original. Once generated, you can edit the content, images, questions and layout in JollyDeck Create.

Option B: Build a new course from scratch

Start with one of JollyDeck’s slide templates and build your course in the Content Editor.

You can also use AI Copilot to create slides from a simple prompt. Provide a topic and brief description, review the suggested outline, and let AI Copilot generate three slide options for you to choose from.

Option C: Build a question bank

Create a bank of questions that you can use in a test. You can build questions yourself using question templates or use AI Copilot to generate a question bank for you.

Once generated, you can review the questions, edit them, add new ones or remove any you don’t need.

Edit your content

Whichever option you choose, your content can be edited in the JollyDeck Content Editor. Click any element on a slide to edit it using the tools in the right-hand panel.
