How do I create an Observation Checklist?

Please note: Observations checklists are not available on basic subscription accounts in JollyDeck. Contact us at for activation of this feature.

Creating an Observation checklist in JollyDeck is not much different to creating the standard checklist. What’s different then? Rather than laying our the steps to be followed in a process, you define a set of job role-based behavioural and functional standards.

To create a new Observation Checklist, go to:

Dashboard > Content Editor > Build new content > Observation checklist

Choose your checklist title and select the language then click Create new checklist. You will be directed to the authoring tool for creating checklists.

Each checklist consists of an Introduction, Observation sections and Items to be assessed. List as many items as you wish by clicking on + Add checklist item on the bottom of the page. The checklist items can be split and organised into sections by clicking on + Add checklist section on the bottom of the page.

You can also add Content Card to each checklist item, by clicking on a document icon next to the item.
