At JollyDeck we believe there is no single silver bullet<\/strong> to address the engagement challenge. But through the years we\u2019ve developed a set of rules and standards that we implement in every part of our learning platform. We\u2019ve got one simple goal: make the JollyDeck user experience enjoyable.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Engagement<\/div>\n

We shouldn\u2019t be happy with the current state of our industry. We need to squeeze the maximum out of available technology. We must invent new ways of learning. Our job is to be inspirational, and on the cutting edge of information transfer.<\/p>\n

1. Respect all users!<\/h2>\n

There are three categories of users for any digital learning process: Creators, Learners, and Managers. Each type of user engagement must be efficient, reliable, and gratifying. <\/strong><\/p>\n

2. Keep it simple!<\/h2>\n

No instruction manuals allowed. The successful digital learning user experience<\/strong> is as intuitive <\/strong>as unlocking the front door.<\/p>\n

3. Support and facilitate the learner!<\/h2>\n

People\u2019s time is limited<\/strong>. Maximize on what they\u2019ve got available: improve learning efficiency<\/strong> through intuitive learning tools and mnemonic techniques.<\/p>\n

4. Never underestimate or condescend!<\/h2>\n

You\u2019re dealing with intelligent adults<\/strong>, often highly experienced workers. Always keep in mind that learning is highly personal<\/strong> and people will disengage from glib, superficial or too-easy content.<\/p>\n

5. Support content creators!<\/h2>\n

Human beings still generate the vast majority of content. Understand the dynamics of this process and help streamline it to save authors\u2019 time and energy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

6. Empower the subject matter expert!<\/h2>\n

Empower experts<\/strong> to create their own content. This massively improves message accuracy and saves time.<\/p>\n

7. Ideas over features!<\/h2>\n

Make sure new features don\u2019t kill engagement.<\/strong> If everyone else is saying ‘of course’ then there are probably better ways of getting there. Do your best to explore them.<\/p>\n
