Unpopular opinion: The use of AI won’t result in more low quality learning content.
Why do I think so?
The world can only sustain a certain amount of low-quality learning content – and that threshold has been successfully fulfilled by human designers (there, I said it).
The AI will have the greatest effect on learning content that needs to pass the “good-enough” bar. The use of AI will allow either creating more learning content or moving the “good-enough” bar higher. In each case it’s a win-win situation \ud83d\ude0a.
Last but not least, I don’t expect AI to soon have a dramatic effect on the quality of high-end learning content. The human creative factor still plays an important part here and it probably will for a while.
