What are we going to do with our new AI superpowers? \ud83d\udcaa
AI already allows us to do more work better and in less time. In the near future, this will only improve.
In the language of economic theory, AI will inevitably shift our productivity curve to the right.
But it\u2019s up to us to decide where on the new curve we\u2019d like to move.
We can be satisfied with the quality of the learning content we generate. In this case, AI will enable us to deliver more content in the same amount of time.
Alternatively, we can aim for better content and use the new resource to increase the quality of our work.
In the short run, I expect many will follow the first route. More work being done at the same time seems like a great opportunity for quick wins.
But in the mid to long run, when more professionals learn how to utilise AI, speed will no longer be a decisive factor. That\u2019s when more focus will be put on the quality of the content.
I\u2019m really looking forward to that time.
