You can keep working on your course while it runs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The rules of narration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By default, narration includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Slide titles<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Headings and main text<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Call-outs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All interactive elements and questions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Image interpretation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Additionally, a<strong> subtle background music and sound cues<\/strong> are added for slide transitions, announcing interactive elements, and reflection time after answers \u2014 guiding the learner&#8217;s focus without distracting them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Voice<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Different narrators<\/strong> are used intelligently: one voice reads the main content, another describes images, announces videos, links and interactive elements.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Click to pause<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whenever a learner clicks anywhere on the slide or an interactive element, the audio pauses. If no answer is selected within that time, the course auto-advances.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For <strong>image galleries<\/strong> or<strong> image maps<\/strong>, the narrator <strong>announces <\/strong>that one is on screen and <strong>instructs <\/strong>the learner to review it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Images<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By default, the narrator <strong>announces <\/strong>that an image is on the slide and <strong>describes <\/strong>it in a few short sentences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Adjusting narration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once narration is generated, listen through it: open your course in the <strong>Preview <\/strong>tab and click <strong>Play <\/strong>on the audio player in the bottom-right corner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As you listen, pay attention to how images, interactive questions, and specific terms \u2014 acronyms, brand names, domain terms \u2014 are narrated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Exclude images or questions from narration<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You may want to exclude certain images or questions from narration, for example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Decorative images that don&#8217;t add learning value<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Questions you&#8217;d like learners to read and answer at their own pace<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<iframe \n  width=\"100%\" \n  style=\"aspect-ratio: 16 \/ 9;\"\nsrc=\"https:\/\/learn.jollydeck.com\/app\/standalone\/19808bb16267a53c762de7d671b34dab27c8709d072770e380e88efa8beb641d74d89a8313670d3017259add9fc13ef0d46c9380067b3c56a5d0dd60c6d626dba6bf772e29d542291fd74f938ea9c6f6b8c41675ba49615726837c7011ee815af27647d9\/course\/59644\/8758\/?noui#unit=109646\" \n  title=\"AI generated video\" \n  frameborder=\"0\" \n  allowfullscreen class=\"iframeShadowExtra\">\n<\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For<strong> excluded question<\/strong>s, the narrator only <strong>instructs <\/strong>learners to read the question on screen and submit their answer. The audio then <strong>pauses<\/strong>, giving the learner time to read and respond. This is reflected in the Editor&#8217;s top toolbar, where the narration icon (speaker) temporarily changes to a recording icon while generation is in progress.
