To add new users to JollyDeck, please see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jollydeck.com\/academy\/help-centre\/managing-users\/bulk-user-management-adding-new-users-and-or-updating-existing-users\/\">Bulk User Management: adding new users<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To add existing users to a learning go to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Learning management > Users > Import users > Add users to a learning<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will arrive at our file preparation guide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Import file preparation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Any import file must be built in accordance to JollyDeck\u2019s rules and formats. Our guide will walk you through all the steps of import file preparation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1. Understand the elements of the import file<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To add users to a mission you only need a list of emails. Emails of users who don\u2019t exist in the system will not be added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. Enter data into your file<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To create the import of file, use Excel editor (or similar)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>User data must be on the <em>first sheet<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>First row is reserved for the field name, i.e. <em>email<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can add up to 30,000 users with one file<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your file should look like this:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"698\" height=\"577\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jollydeck.com\/academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Users-4-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5615\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.jollydeck.com\/academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Users-4-1.png 698w, https:\/\/www.jollydeck.com\/academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Users-4-1-339x280.png 339w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 698px) 100vw, 698px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. Click <strong>Import users<\/strong> at the bottom of the Import page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Importing users<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>1. <strong>Browse<\/strong> for the import file<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Click <strong>Select the learning<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Search for the mission and select <strong>Confirm<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"791\" height=\"583\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jollydeck.com\/academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Users-9.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5613\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.jollydeck.com\/academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Users-9.png 791w, https:\/\/www.jollydeck.com\/academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Users-9-380x280.png 380w, https:\/\/www.jollydeck.com\/academy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Users-9-768x566.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 791px) 100vw, 791px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Click <strong>Submit<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Any problematic data, such as duplicated or unknown email addresses will be reported in the section <strong>Invalid entries<\/strong>. This is your chance to cancel the import and correct these in your import file.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please note: deactivated users or invalid entries will not be added to the mission<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>5. If you are happy with the report of the import file, click <strong>Confirm<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then you are finished. Users from the list who are not yet in the selected mission will be added to it.
