Can I set questions as mandatory to answer?

Yes. You can make questions mandatory in a course or mark them as important in a question bank.

Setting a question as mandatory in a course

A mandatory question in a course must be answered before learners can proceed to the next slide.

To make a question mandatory:

1. Open your course in the Content Editor.
2. Select the question you want to make mandatory.
3. In the right-hand editing panel, open Element ruleset.
4. Turn on Mandatory question.

Marking a question as important in a question bank

When publishing a question bank as a test, you can choose how many questions are randomly selected for each attempt.

Marking a question as Important gives it priority, so it’s included in every test attempt (as long as the test includes enough questions to accommodate all Important questions

Note: If you mark more questions as Important than the test allows, only some will be selected. For example, if all 20 questions are marked as Important but the test includes only 10, learners will receive a random sel
